This piece is inspired by the story of the Water Spider  and how she brought back fire to the the animals -now this is not the little spider that glides on top of the water but rather the one that swims under --you can read the whole story

Each pendant is made by hand to order. The design is based on historical designs found on shell gorgets from the Southeastern United States. 

The etched  copper pendant is about 2" across.
